SCORE Twin Cities celebrates and supports veterans because we’ve been there. Numerous clients and volunteers have been military veterans throughout the chapter’s history, a trend that continues today. More than 10% of SCORE Twin Cities’ current volunteers are veterans, and nearly 25% of those veterans serve in some form of leadership role.

In early 2022, SCORE Twin Cities appointed Chris Wicker, an active-duty Air Force veteran, as chapter co-chair, highlighting the importance of military veterans’ perspective throughout the client and volunteer experience. So, when we say we understand the needs of veterans in business, we mean it.During Veterans Week SCORE Twin Cities was represented at two events on Thursday, November 10. Harry Miller presented several learning modules of the Boots to Business Reboot learning program (Pictured below)

John Berget, who is also a Veteran, represented SCORE at a Veterans Employment Resource Group (VERG) breakfast meeting celebrating their first in person meeting since the start of Covid-19. John spoke to this group about SCORE’s resources available to any veteran considering starting a business and SCORE’s relationship with the Minneapolis VA Vocational Rehab.
